Chesapeake Weather Services provides specific weather and climate information to agribusiness, energy and other weather sensitive sectors. Based in Chicago, the meteorology team is comprised of Jon Davis and Mark Russo formerly of Citigroup/Smith Barney and Josh Darr formerly of RMS (Risk Management Solutions). With over 40 years of combined weather forecasting, research, and risk management experience, the team has been one of the premier research groups in weather risk management during the past two decades. The Chesapeake weather center in downtown Chicago is a state-of-the art facility on the cutting-edge of meteorology.

Our unique philosophy is to establish a close relationship with select clientele on an individual basis. For each customer, specific strategies/decisions can be implemented to aid in the risk management process. Products available to clients include daily, weekly, and seasonal reports as well as specialized research projects for individual clients.
